What began as a friendship 13 years ago, grew into a sisterhood, and became a musical collaboration between two Rafikis, (Rafiki meaning friend in Swahili and in Arabic). A female duo consisting of an acoustic guitarist (Alexa Cordova) and lead vocalist (Rebeca Salazar), their

motto is: Keep it simple. 

With both artists coming from opposite ends, the singer from Chicago, IL and

Their talents complement one another and comes with meaning and passion.

Always keeping in mind the power of music and the importance of a positive influence, they both feel with great talent comes much responsibility. Their music takes on many different sounds which reflect both artists' musical influences.
